It has quickly grown into 4 locations and opened its doors in 2012. Not sure if one location will be closed forever (pandemic) but Calle del Barquillo, 19 is temporarily closed for now.

For the sweet options you can find cupcakes, vegan cupcakes, cakes, vegan cakes, raw vegan cakes, and much more.
As for savory you can find vegan lasagnas, sandwiches, salads, hamburgers, poke bowls, and more. In addition, they offer typical bakery beverages.

Pasteleria La Oriental – Sin Gluten
La Oriental has 2 locations right next to each other. One is completely 100% gluten free and the other isn’t. However, you won’t find too much of a difference in inventory and that’s thanks to the cutest owner.
She wants to make gluten intolerant people feel normal and so she doesn’t skimp the catalog. Instead, you’ll find Spanish classics all over the bakery.
The owner got the idea to become gluten free by listening to customers who couldn’t eat her products. More and more clients kept asking for gluten free. She dedicated a whole other side to La Oriental due to this so there is 0 chance of gluten contamination.
Her pastry chefs are all professionally trained but also certified in gluten free cooking and work with the Madrid Celiac Association. Feel safe here because they truly got it covered.
La Oriental is also known to have affordable prices for gluten free goods. If all mentioned prior doesn’t impress you, the show stopping bakery received an award for the best gluten free donuts in Madrid.

They opened for business since 2016 and have been a very popular option since. Their category is completely 100% gluten free and everything is made in an artisanal way. Sana Locura stands for healthy madness in English. Caaauttee.

Arte Diet

This place has been open since 1997 and has all gluten free products. Catch is if you want something specific, call ahead. Arte Diet products are made to order, and while they do try to have inventory in the store, it might not match exactly what you want.
Call and ask to see if its available. They pride themselves in using top quality ingredients and not compromising flavor to suit dietary needs.

Leon The Baker
This bakery started in London in 2014 and then made their way over to Spain. Founder Juan Cardenal wanted to make gluten free bread using natural ingredients and quality flour.
We can definitely say he exceeded his mission. He has tons of locations all over Madrid and offers a wide selection of natural products that come from organic farming. The bread here freezes perfectly so if you want to buy ahead for the future, feel free.
Leon the Baker also doesn’t use artificial ingredients, stabilizers, or preservatives in their bread.
Celilocos – gluten free bakery in Madrid
Celilocos is an establishment that focuses on their products having no allergens such as gluten, lactose, and others.
For their gluten free products you can find bread, cakes, salty treats, sweets, and seasonal cakes like one of the most traditional Spanish sweets, the Roscon de Reyes.
They are open Monday – Friday in the mornings and Fridays afternoons and are associated with Madrid’s association of Celiacs. Celilocos is located in Calle de Carlos Sole, 6.
La Celiacoteca

Another 100% Gluten free bakery in Madrid, LAIB is an awesome option to go with. They have everything you can expect in a bakery so its incredibly celiac friendly. Founders Fernando and Lucia are 2 friends that got 2 years of experience making gluten free artisinal products in Lubeck, Germany.
LAIB means loaf in German.
Now their goal is to have everyone enjoy gluten free bread, not just for celiacs. They pride themselves in knowledge, experience, and quality of products.

0% Gluten
Focused on giving celiac and gluten free eaters an opportunity to find a main bakery staple, 0% gluten is a franchise all over Spain.
